Ok, so this is a remake. I have made this before but the only picture I got of it was a crappy cell phone shot, and I wanted to throw some fish back on our menu. Here it is (again)
And can we just pause for a second to acknowledge this is my 57th post, I know I have taken some breaks here and there but still- yay me! 🙂
I am so glad I made this again, because I got to enjoy eating it again! Seriously, you need to try this. Flounder is super cheap too!
I did remember from last time that it made more sense to melt the butter sauce on the stove top than in the microwave, so I was sure to do that this time. Great success!
It worked out so well last time with the angel hair that I knew I wanted to serve it with pasta again. Mike wasn’t home last time I made the flounder recipes back to back so another reason why I chose flounder this week. ( Hint hint, you will see Coconut Crusted Flounder later this week!)
We came across this super cheap, super delicious and eggy pasta in Market Basket. It is so good I don’t even have a word for it. I know I am trying to eat less carbs but this pasta is so worth the splurge! It is heaven on earth.
This time around I drained the pasta and then poured the butter sauce into the pasta and tossed it and then topped it with parsley. I am salivating just thinking about it right now. Thank god for leftovers for lunch tomorrow ha!
The fish came out perfect, honestly that is something I love about fish, it is so hard to mess up! You LITERALLY can’t under cook it! But this was cooked just perfectly and I actually was able to let the fish marinade for about half and hour in the sauce before I baked it so it was super moist.
Of the recipes I made today, this was my favorite. Even though it was pasta, it is so incredibly light and delicious. I know I said this for the last three recipes, but YOU NEED TO TRY THIS!!
